Trending is not what your friend sees
It is ranked separately on every device from that device's own history. Two phones will not agree, and that is what the feature is.

iConify is written by one developer. There is no ticket system and no queue — there is an inbox, and the answers come from the person who wrote the code.
In English, Russian or Latvian. Please write from an address you can read a reply on: without one there is no way to ask the follow-up question that usually solves it.
Four lines that turn “it doesn't work” into something reproducible.
Model and system version. Settings › About phone has both. Behaviour differs enough between manufacturers that this is rarely a formality.
The bottom of iConify's own Settings screen shows it. If the problem was fixed in a later release, this is the line that says so.
The steps before it went wrong, including the ones that seem irrelevant. Which icon, which collection, which screen.
Sometimes it is a bug and sometimes it is a decision you disagree with. Both are worth knowing, and they are answered differently.
If one of these is what you are seeing, the answer is here rather than in an inbox.
It is ranked separately on every device from that device's own history. Two phones will not agree, and that is what the feature is.
An icon added from a URL is a record pointing at that address. If the address stops answering, the icon stops loading. Delete it and add it again from a working link.
Uninstalling removes the app's database along with everything in it, and the app keeps no copy of its own anywhere else. Android's system backup sometimes restores app data when you set up a new phone, but it is not something to rely on. Export the library before removing the app, and import it afterwards.
It appears once per calendar day and not on the very first launch, when there is nothing in the history to choose from.
It needs WhatsApp installed and a connection to download about six megabytes. Without WhatsApp the app says so; without a connection it asks you to try again.
It is meant to be. There is no paid tier and nothing to buy that removes it — the banner is how the app is paid for.
Everything iConify stores about you is on your phone, so most data questions have a local answer: uninstalling removes it, and exporting keeps a copy you control.
For anything else — including a request about data processed by the advertising in the app — write to contacts@iconify.suxlv2.space. What we do and do not hold is set out in the privacy policy.
A one-star review with the words “doesn't work” cannot be answered, because Google Play gives no way to ask which phone or which screen. Write first; the review will still be there afterwards, and it will be a fairer one.
